We haven't eaten here in a few years since we moved, but today we were in the area so why not. If you haven't been at the grill for a while, they did major interior updates. New booths, a fresh look and a very open concept . Nicely done. More importantly the meal quality which wasn't up to par today.

Twice in one day...all-day breakfast, and back for coffee & dessert. Consistently good food, great staff and wonderful owners.

They are now open for indoor dining. The food is as good as ever, the service is super fast and friendly. As with all restaurants, they need your patronage so visit them soon to help keep them is business.

Went for lunch yesterday to The Daily Grill in Waterloo. I ordered a hot turkey sandwich and waited half an hour for my food. The place was very busy mind you. But the food they served me I would not serve to a dog. The vegetables were cold, with the beans soggy and the carrots raw. The gravy on top of the hot turkey sandwich was dark brown, cold, lumpy, salty, thick beef gravy. I tried scrapping it off to eat just the turkey meat but it was not edible. To give the waitress credit, she stopped by and asked if everything was okay and I said no. She replaced my meal with a cold turkey sandwich and some fresh hot fries and charged me the lesser amount. Problem solved but.....I will not returning. No restaurant should prepare and serve food they would not eat themselves. Big disappointment! The one star is for the waitress, not the cook or management.

A wonderful breakfast place, but they do lunch and dinner too! The breakfasts are what I go for though, always very good and for a great price. The service is fast and friendly. They have lots of different food options, great omlettes, pancakes, french toast, classic eggs and meats. Everything is great!

Dinner was not goodMight look good but.....All frozen food warmed up !🙁I even asked about the deserts And they told me they are all storeBought none made in house !Disappointed will not be returning!

The Daily Grill has been one of my favourite places to eat, especially breakfast and lunch. The environment is relaxed and the food is fresh. I especially like the club sandwich!

We had skillets for breakfast and pancakes for our little guy. The food was amazing and so was the service. Our food was brought out quickly and they were very accommodating.The price was decent too. We almost overlooked it because the outside looked kind of shabby but the inside is newly renovated and clean. Definitely going back!

Came in for lunch during the week and ordered a Cheeseburger, Fries & Soda.The fries were fantastic. A generous amount too.The burger surprisingly was a double.It was ok. Tasted like a Harvey's burger only fried and somewhat greasy.The service was warm and friendly and I felt like their guest.The place is also very clean and the prices are quite reasonable.Among the outstanding things I noticed were the breakfast plates other restaurant customers had in front of them. The homefries looked crisp and some were very large in diameter (round and flat).The other items on those breakfast plates look very good too.Clearly this is a good place to come for breakfast. I will have to come back.All in all:Great FriesClean place.Friendly atmosphere.Breakfast items look great.

Food is pretty good. Atmosphere and decor are friendly and homely. Price of food is expensive - $42 for 3 people for breakfast.

Decent family owned restaurant. Good traditional breakfast options, and service is good. Lacks some creativity and uniqueness I suppose, nothing to rave about compared to some of the other breakfast / brunch places in KW.

Fantastic local diner.

Delicious home style meals with fast service at reasonable prices. The atmosphere, owners and staff are amazing and welcoming.

So great to be able go safely go out for breakfast again with my family.

The place has potential but the staff needs some training. I was only visited by my server one time during a 45 minute stay. I had to ask another server for assistance 4 times in getting refills, straws and condiments. Prices are very fair. They have very good breakfast food. Very calm and comfortable atmosphere. I like to bring my kids here. The place seems to always have a dirty floor and unclean tables (until you sit down and they get wiped for you). All issues can be resolved with a better managed staff. Hopefully this happens and my review can change.

Every Monday for eggs and bacon. Always good, rarely a missed beat. Coffee is pretty good for a diner. Staff are efficient and warm.

New staff who are amazing, as far as I'm concerned and the restaurant got a make over so it looks really nice.
